Porch & Pour (“we,” “us”) runs a local directory of porch pickup coffee makers, coffee trucks and pop-ups in and around Burleson, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
From vendors who submit a listing. When you add or update a listing, we collect what you enter in the form, such as your business name, vendor type, city, neighborhood or general area, schedule, how to order, social or website links, phone number, email address, menu details, payment methods and photos. If you create an account, we also store your username and password.
From visitors. When you browse the site, we and our service providers automatically collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. If you search by location or use the map, the location you enter or allow is used to show nearby listings.
What appears publicly
Listing details you submit are published in the directory so customers can find you, after we review them. That can include your business name, area, schedule, how to order, links, phone number, menu and photos. We ask porch pickup vendors not to enter a home address; listings show a neighborhood or cross streets instead. Don’t submit anything you don’t want shown publicly.
How we use information
- To review, publish and maintain listings in the directory
- To contact vendors about their listing, such as approval, updates or questions
- To keep the site secure and to block spam
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
The site uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser. WordPress and our directory software use them to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. Analytics tools use them to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as signing in, may not work without them.
Services we use
We rely on a few third-party services that may process information on our behalf:
- Hostinger hosts the website and its data.
- Google Analytics and Search Console (through Google Site Kit) help us understand traffic. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Akismet checks form submissions and comments for spam. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
- OpenStreetMap provides the map tiles. Loading the map sends your IP address to their tile servers. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
Links on listings take you to vendors’ own pages, such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or ordering forms. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and orders and payments happen directly with the vendor, not through Porch & Pour.
How long we keep information
We keep listing information while the listing is active and for a reasonable time after it is removed. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of those tools. We delete or anonymize information when we no longer need it.
Your choices
- Vendors can edit a listing from the vendor dashboard, or email contact@porchandpourcoffee.com to update or remove it.
- You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can block cookies in your browser.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. We’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
